With this full day experience you will go one-to-one with an experienced falconer to get the best possible insight into the world of falconry and birds of prey. Your falconer and guide will take you through the many different features of falconry and caring for birds of prey, giving you a thorough overview of the day to day life of a falconer as well as an unrivalled look at the behaviour and lifestyle of the incredible birds. Millets Farm falconry centre in Oxford is well established and loved by locals, and has plenty of beautiful feathered inhabitants for you to observe, handle, fly and work with, all in one unforgettable day. From owls to eagles and Harris hawks, youll meet a range of species, each with their own fascinating traits, and you'll gain a whole new appreciation for just how incredible, strong and mysterious these creatures are. The day lasts from 9am until 3pm, with a short break for lunch (which is provided), so you are guaranteed plenty of hands-on time with the birds.
