Experience Days Dance Classes: Learn to dance Salsa with this wonderful, informal and fun 8 week salsa course for beginners, available at multiple locations around Devon. Salsa is an energetic dance that draws on Latin-American, Afro-Caribbean, and Latin culture to result in a fiery, spicy dance full of passion! During this eight week course you are sure to pick up some seriously smooth new salsa moves. Total beginners will start by learning the basic moves required for salsa. The dance is not that difficult to pick up, it consists of different combinations of 6 steps with plenty of sexy spins, daring dips and twisting turns. You'll work on those basics until you start to feel comfortable and like you have found your rhythm, then you can move onto more complex foot work and tricky moves. Even if you feel a little clumsy or unsure to begin with, your professional dance teacher will show you the moves and work with you until you're feeling the salsa rhythm! Salsa is a dance you do with a partner, so as well as learning something new and getting active, you'll meet plenty of new friends. By the end of the eight week salsa course, you should be moving round the floor like a pro, dancing to the salsa beat! This dance course is a fantastic gift idea for would-be dancers in Devon, and because it can be taken either as a course over eight consecutive weeks, or as as eight separate drop-in classes, it's versatile and ideal for busy people!
