Gliding Experience Days:Glide over rural Oxfordshire at 2000-3000 ft! Sit back and enjoy an almost silent flight in an impressive, state of the art glider, all under the careful guide of your qualified BGA flight instructor.Taking off from MotorGlide Bicester Airfield, your glider will be launched behind a tow plane and, once released you and your instructor will soar almost silently through the air. The length of flight is hard to predict and will vary. Take your time to enjoy the incredible view and then have a go at the controls yourself. To begin with, your instructor will steer your glider plane, perhaps catching a pocket of rising air (known as a thermal) to prolong your flight! Once safely in the air gliding, your instructor will give you the opportunity to take control of your flight. You'll even receive a Certificate of Flight once you're back on the ground.This 30 minute Gliding Experience in Oxfordshire is an ideal gift for thrill seekers and budding pilots alike.
