Kayaking on Wales's Wye river is a great way to explore the waterways! Climb aboard your kayak to discover exciting and challenging water on these half and full-day kayaking experiences near the stunning Brecon Beacons area of South Wales.These sessions are ideal for those with no or little previous experience of kayaking. Your kayaking session starts with meeting your coach who will be a fully qualified member of the British Canoe Union. Once kitted up with buoyancy aid helmet paddle and kayak (wet suits may be hired at approx. 3.50) your instructor will take you through a land-based safety briefing and explanation of basic techniques. When it comes to kayaking most people's biggest concern is if they have to do a capsize drill - well worry not at this Welsh kayaking centre there isn't one. That's because these days it's not necessary as modern kayaks are a lot more stable controllable and far safer to get into and out of than before. So there's no fear of having to get wet...
