Chocolate Experience Days: Enjoy a 2 hour chocolate making workshop in Manchester, and learn how to make a delicious giant chocolate button as well, as your own handmade chocolate truffles! The Manchester chocolate workshop is run by Master Chocolatiers who are incredibly skilled, and very knowledgeable about the process of chocolate making from the cacao plantations to the shop display. The experience begins with a warm welcome to the workshop, and a briefing to introduce you to the day. The first thing you will do is watch a chocolate making demonstration, as the chocolatiers provide you with lore, facts and figures relating to chocolate and chocolate making while they ply you with chocolate to taste test as you learn what makes a high quality chocolate. Then you will start to get really hands-on, beginning by making a giant chocolate button. This will get you used to working with the molten chocolate, and when finished you can decorate it however you like! After this it's time to make some delicious chocolate truffles using the finest organic ingredients. You will be provided with pretty ribbon-tied bags in which to take your handmade truffles home with you, so you can share your creations with lucky family and friends!
