You'll be shown through to the extensive lounge area where your tea will be served. The decor is very much your comfortable and relaxed hotel lounge bar. There are cosy corners for a romantic date for two and large tables overlooking the spa centre for a jovial get together. Once settled in your teatime goodies will be served - and it's just as you'd expect from a traditional hotel in Bournemouth. Many afternoon tea guests have commented on the generous size of the scones. The bigger the better we say - especially when they are freshly baked and served with lashings of clotted cream and deliciously fruity sweet jams. Then of course you've got your cakes and sandwiches. All the customary fillings feature and the cakes are a real delight so there's a good choice of sweet treats to complement your scones. As with all the best High Teas hot drinks will be served alongside and you can always ask for a refill. The attentive and courteous staff is what really makes this afternoon tea experience in Bournemouth.
